Job Description

Interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layouts.
Weld small and large components such as copper plumbing, beams, and pipelines.
Use specialized machinery for industrial welding and oversee machines that perform the same job.
Maintain and repair all machinery.
Assess welded surfaces, structures and components to identify errors.
Follow and enforce strict safety regulations such as wearing heat-resistant gloves, protective masks, and safety shoes.
Monitor machinery for appropriate usage and temperature.
Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead
Perform orbital welding on stainless steel tubing for UHP gas distribution systems in semiconductor plants.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and isometric diagrams.
Set up and operate Auto tube welding equipment .
Conduct weld inspections per industry standards to ensure zero contamination and defect-free welds.
Perform purge gas setup and ensure proper gas flow to maintain weld integrity.
Maintain welding logs and complete quality documentation (QA/QC reports).
Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to meet fabrication and installation timelines.
Comply with safety procedures and cleanroom protocols.
