Job Description

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
Set up welding machines and select appropriate materials and methods (MIG, TIG, arc, gas welding, etc.).
Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions according to project requirements.
Inspect materials, structures, and welds to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
Perform finishing tasks such as grinding, polishing, and smoothing welds.
Maintain welding equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
Follow workplace safety rules and wear appropriate protective gear (helmet, gloves, apron, etc.).
Collaborate with team members, fabricators, and supervisors to complete assigned projects on time.
Repair and maintain metal structures, machinery parts, or tools as required.
Record work completed and report defects or irregularities to supervisors.
