Job Description

  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols
  • Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, and cleaning metal surfaces
  • Operate welding equipment (MIG, TIG, Arc, etc.) safely and efficiently
  • Join metal parts using appropriate welding techniques
  • Inspect welds to ensure strength, quality, and accuracy
  • Repair damaged metal components and structures
  • Maintain welding tools and equipment in good condition
  • Follow safety procedures and wear protective equipment at all times
  • Measure and align workpieces using tools like calipers and rulers
  • Ensure all work meets industry standards and project specifications
  • Identify welding defects and perform corrective actions
