Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee all warehousing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of goods. You will manage staff, processes, and systems to ensure productivity targets are met and that warehouse operations run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor the receipt, order, assembly, and dispatch of goods
- Ensure warehouse operations are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and legal guidelines
- Oversee inventory control and ensure stock accuracy
- Implement and improve warehouse performance metrics (KPIs)
- Supervise, train, and evaluate warehouse staff
- Organize the recruitment and training of staff, as well as monitoring staff performance and progress
- Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security in the work environment
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment and technology (e.g., forklifts, scanners, WMS)
- Manage warehouse layout and space optimization
- Prepare reports and analyze data to improve productivity and cost-effectiveness
