Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Team Lead to oversee day-to-day warehouse operations within our logistics facility. The role involves supervising a team of warehouse staff to ensure timely and accurate order processing, inventory control, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, and capable of driving team performance to achieve operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate daily warehouse activities such as receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipment preparation.
- Allocate and supervise manpower according to operational priorities and timelines.
- Ensure accuracy of inventory transactions in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Conduct daily checks to maintain proper stock levels, quality standards, and housekeeping.
- Support the Warehouse Supervisor/Manager in monitoring KPIs and operational performance.
- Provide on-the-job training, coaching, and performance feedback to team members.
- Liaise with transporters, vendors, and internal departments on delivery schedules and stock movement.
- Enforce workplace safety, security, and cleanliness according to company and MOM standards.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and recommend process improvements.
Requirements:
- Diploma / NITEC / Higher NITEC in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience in logistics or warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team lead role.
- Knowledge of WMS / ERP systems and basic Microsoft Office applications.
- Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Familiar with MOM safety and warehouse regulatory requirements.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM
Saturday alternate, 8.30 AM - 12.30 PM or 11.00 AM - 3.00 PM
