Role Overview
Oversee end-to-end warehouse and distribution operations, ensuring efficient order fulfillment, accurate inventory management, smooth cross-functional coordination, and high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimise the full warehouse and distribution workflow (receiving, sorting, packing, shipping, inventory, delivery) to meet timeliness and efficiency targets.
- Execute warehouse order plans by coordinating manpower, transportation, and other resources to ensure fulfillment rates and inventory turnover.
- Lead and manage a team of worker, including scheduling, task allocation, performance monitoring, and training.
- Drive inventory accuracy through regular stock checks, discrepancy analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with procurement, sales, and logistics to resolve operational issues such as stockouts, mis-shipments, and delays.
- Act as the main point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders on inventory and delivery status, handling inquiries and feedback promptly.
- Handle customer complaints and operational issues, ensuring timely resolution and improved customer experience.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve warehouse and distribution SOPs to enhance efficiency and control costs.
- Support ad-hoc tasks and operational needs to ensure uninterrupted daily operations.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of relevant warehouse or distribution experience, with supervisory exposure preferred.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and distribution processes.
- Good leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
- Familiar with warehouse systems (WMS) and operational procedures.
- Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive team player with the ability to handle operational and ad-hoc tasks as required.
- Proactive, flexible, and capable of handling ad-hoc tasks without impacting core operations.
