WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR

Job Summary

Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for leading and coordinating Warehouseoperation activities, managing Warehouse operation team, and ensuring theeffective functioning of equipment and facilities. They are expected tomaintain high standards of safety, efficiency, and reliability while adheringto organizational policies and industry best practices.

Role and Responsibilities

1. Team Leadership:

a) Supervise and provide guidance to Warehouse Support team, includingtraining, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.

b) Foster a positive work environment, encourage teamwork, and providecoaching for team development.

2. Inventory Management:

a) Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels by overseeing andarrange regular stock check and daily cycle counts.

b) Ensure accurate records between system and physical stock to addressany discrepancies promptly.

3. Order Fulfillment:

a) Coordinate the picking, packing and shipment of orders to meetcustomer requirements and delivery deadlines.

b) Oversee the accurate preparation of export shipment and raw materialsupport production.

4. Safety Compliance:

a) Enforce safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a hazard-freeand compliant warehouse environment.

b) Stay informed about workplace safety regulations and awareness tooperation teams ensure they follow safety procedures.

5. Equipment & Facilities:

a) Ensure proper maintenance of warehouse Material handling Equipment(MHE). Collaborate with supplier to coordinate on all servicing and repairing tasksto ensure without any impact for warehouse activities.

b) Oversee the cleanliness of the warehouse layout for optimalefficiency.

6. Document & Reporting:

a) Maintains accurate documentation to reflect the effectiveness andefficiency of warehouse activities.

b) Generate regular reports on near miss, incident case, and correctiveaction preventive action (CAPA) and operational metrics.

7. Problem Solving & Communication:

a) Adress any operational challenges, such as shipment delayed,inventory shortage, and order discrepancies in a timely manner.

b) Maintain effective communication with Warehouse operation team andother department to ensure smooth operations and order fulfilment.

8. Continuous Improvement:

a) Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance warehouseoperations, streamline workflows and cost saving.

9. To provide backup for Warehouse Specialist in the following areas:

a) Assist to perform receive MRO and spare parts.

b) Assistto perform receive incoming raw materials.
