Warehouse Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

• Packaging Operations: Ensure proper packaging, handling, and transportation of materials according to production schedules, with zero defects.
• Team Management: Supervise and assign tasks to contract packaging personnel, ensuring they follow SOPs and perform safely and efficiently.
• Warehouse Operations: Maintain and update SOPs, perform regular workplace inspections, and ensure compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements.
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels of packaging supplies, raw materials, and finished goods, and manage inventory systems (e.g., GSAP).
• Safety and Compliance: Oversee safety procedures and ensure adherence to Safety & Environmental policies; manage contractor safety.
• Production Coordination: Collaborate with Sales and Production teams to ensure packaging aligns with production schedules.
• Continuous Improvement: Analyze packaging processes (quality, cost, material) and suggest improvements.
• Logistics Coordination: Work with logistics teams for the movement of finished goods from the plant to storage warehouses.
• Training and Development: Support the training and onboarding of new contract employees, ensuring smooth startup and operation of the new packaging warehouse.

Qualifications:

Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years in warehouse packaging, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.

Education:

• Diploma in a relevant discipline.

Knowledge:

• In-depth understanding of warehouse safety rules, packaging processes, and compliance regulations.
• Experience with SAP/GSAP, Excel, and quality systems.
• Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and warehouse management procedures.
• Familiarity with packaging material requirements and auditing outside warehouse facilities.
