Job Description

The Talent

  • Qualification in logistics / supply chain management or relevant certification in warehouse operations
  • Supervisory experience in warehouse operations with proven ability to direct and coordinate operations
  • Familiarity with IMS/WMS systems, barcode scanning, and basic reporting tools (Excel/Google Sheets)
  • Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
  • A strong sense of responsibility
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
  • Hands-on commitment to getting the job done
  • Prior experience in supermarket, e-commerce and/or supply chain operations will be useful

Supervising and coordinating ground staffs for daily warehousing activities:

  • Picking and packing customer orders with speed and care
  • Managing warehouse openings and closures
  • Inbounding of deliveries from grocery suppliers
  • Organizing goods in designated racks, chillers or freezers
  • Coordinate and schedule deliveries with driver partners
  • Monitoring stock aging, expiries, and temperature log
  • Maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment
  • Working with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment

Other responsibilities as below:

  • Plan, schedule and assign warehousing activities to ground staffs
  • Implement and enforce adherence to SOP
  • Train new team members periodically
  • Achieve productivity, quality, and customer service KPIs
  • Measure and report performance of KPIs and employee performance
  • Maintain records, analyze reports, and project warehouse status
  • Identify improvement areas and optimize work procedures and practices.
