- To assist the warehouse manager in the day to day operational activities
- Able to plan & organize effectively on the daily requirements of the warehouse operations
- Able to investigate & analyse the cause of mistakes and provide with solutions when there is incident and provide reports and counselling
- Ensure that all Safe Work Procedures are adhered at all times
- To ensure regular inspections are carried out on all material handling equipment in the warehouse
- All operational areas and documentations are maintained as per SOP
- Responsible for management of quality issues and resolutions as per standard operating procedures or defined standards
- Responsible for monthly cycle count, annual stock take and overall inventory accuracy
- Responsible in maintaining a safe and clean work environment by ensuring all workstations are kept neat by complying with safety rules, procedures and regulations
- Participates and contributes to team effort by accomplishing set KPIs and company goals
- Communicating with warehouse operational team on issues or concerns pertaining operational matters or duties
- Ensure safe receipt, storage, retrieval and timely dispatch of goods and ensure all key performance indicators are achieved
- Identify and implement in all areas of improvements to maximize productivity
- To ensure operations are performed smoothly through computerized administration system
Qualifications and Experience
- 3 to 5 years experience in Warehousing / Picking, Packing & Inventory control especially in a computerised warehouse environment
- Responsible to generate daily, weekly and monthly reports and statistics for operational matters, productivity and transactional data
- Responsible to ensure all billing and costing is completed within the specified datelines
- Be the team lead for all SAP EWM related issues, problem solving, resolution and improvements
- Conduct In-House-Training for new staff on warehouse process and other warehouse related activities
- Responsible for the management, monitoring and replenishment of packing materials and ensure availability at all times
- Liase with both internal and external customers on all aspects of operational requirements within the warehouse
- Performs and delegates other duties as and when assigned
- Transportation will be provided at Tuas MRT station
