Job Summary
The Warehouseman is responsible for the efficient handling, storage, and dispatch of goods within the warehouse. This role ensures inventory accuracy, maintains a clean and safe working environment, and supports timely order fulfillment in accordance with company SOPs.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming goods and materials.
- Organize and store items in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch according to delivery schedules.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and barcode scanners.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the warehouse.
- Assist in loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
- Report damaged or missing inventory to supervisors promptly.
- Follow all company SOPs and safety protocols.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy items up to 30kg.
- Familiarity with inventory systems and warehouse equipment.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Forklift certification.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
