Warehouse Assistant Supervisor/ Supervisor (5B)

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead a team of warehouse staff, assign tasks to staff and scheduling, ensure staff comply with operation processes

• Responsible day-to-day warehousing operations ensuring that customer expectations and performance metrics are met or exceeded

• Manage space for inbound shipment by optimizing warehouse space & location

• Manage inventory by conducting daily/weekly cycle count, ensuring inventory and storage areas are clean and maintained

• Ensuring picking & packing are completed within the ship date

• Develop and maintain a high standard of customer service and satisfaction

• Meet operations key performance indicators and improve on customers feedback

• Responsible for coordinating with Shop-floor Supervisor / Buyer on delivery orders and returns

• Train employees in all warehouse functions according to company procedures

• Liaise with various departments to resolve any warehouse operation related issues

• Ensuring inventory and storage areas are clean and maintained

• Any other duties assigned by superior.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Supply Chain or Logistics Management

• Hands-on experience in warehousing will be an added advantage.

• Good communication skills

• Ability to deal with people of all levels

• Able to perform work with minimal supervision

• Accuracy and speed in performing daily activities

• Able to operate MHE such as Forklift and Reach Truck

• Inventory management and reconciliation of errors
