Description
Responsibilities
- Receiving and Processing Stock: Receive unload, and inspect incoming materials and products to ensure they meet purchase requirements.
- Verify and check orders for accuracy, ensuring correct materials and quantities are loaded or delivered. Including issuing duties and coordinating transportation.
- Order Preparation: Picking, packing, and preparing orders for delivery or pickup. To Customer or Vendor.
- Inventory Management: Performing inventory controls by keeping thorough inventory records, conduct frequent stock counts, and update systems.
- To ensure the accuracy and tally of system and physical quantities.
- Safety and Cleanliness: Assist with maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. Store and organize raw materials, parts, and finished goods in designated locations.
- Equipment Operation: Operate company vehicles, such as trucks, vans, and warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and sawing machines, in a safe and efficient manner. Transport materials and finished goods safely.
- Reporting: Logging inventory discrepancies and communicating with supervisors and coworkers.
- Operational Excellence Initiatives: 5S and continuous improvement projects
- Compliances: Conformances to health, safety and regulatory guidelines provided.
Requirements
- Working experience as a warehouse worker.
- Proficiency in basic MS offices, SAP MM (preferred) and utilisation of warehouse management system
- Current forklift license (preferred).
- A Class 3 license and 3 years driving experience in Singapore.
- NITEC and above or relevant certification in warehouse management
