Job Overview:
The Warehouse Assistant plays a key role in ensuring smooth warehouse operations by assisting in receiving, storing, organizing, picking, and dispatching goods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against delivery orders or invoices.
- Pick, pack, and prepare goods for dispatch in an accurate and timely manner.
- Assist in loading and unloading of goods.
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jack, forklift) safely and responsibly.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor/Manager.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in warehouse operations or logistics is an advantage.
- Physically fit and able to lift/move goods when required.
- Forklift license (preferred but not mandatory).
- Ok to stand for long periods, lifting, and manual handling.
