About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Assistant to support daily warehouse operations. The successful candidate will assist with receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods while ensuring accuracy, safety, and efficiency at all times.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receiving & Dispatching

  • Assist in receiving incoming shipments and inspect goods for visible damage.

  • Report discrepancies or damages to the supervisor.

  • Coordinate with the delivery team to verify and prepare outgoing shipments.

• Inventory Handling

  • Organize, stack, and store inventory according to warehouse procedures.

  • Assist with stocktaking, cycle counts, and periodic inventory checks.

• Picking & Packing

  • Pick, assemble, wrap, and pack products securely for delivery.

  • Ensure orders are accurate and meet quality and presentation standards.

• Loading & Unloading

  • Support loading and unloading of goods from trucks or containers.

  • Use safe manual handling practices and approved equipment.

• Labelling & Documentation

  • Label products correctly and assist with preparing delivery notes, packing lists, and receiving records.

• Return Handling

  • Assist with processing returned goods.

  • Inspect, document, and restock or segregate returned items as required.

Requirements:

• Previous warehouse or labour experience is an advantage but not essential.

• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.

• Basic understanding of warehouse safety procedures.

• Good attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.
