Job Description

Our client is a Japanese logistics and engineering company providing comprehensive plant engineering, logistics, and operational support services across various industries. They are currently seeking a Warehouse Assistant Manager or Section Manager, depending on the candidate's experience. In this role, you will support warehouse operations and drive operational efficiency.

【 Responsibilities 】

(Warehouse Assistant Manager)
- Plan and optimize warehouse space utilization
- Support manpower planning and workforce allocation
- Drive operational efficiency through process improvement, technology adoption, and innovation
- Support P&L responsibility for warehouse operations
- Handle day-to-day customer enquiries and coordination
- Participate in KPI and performance review meetings with clients
- Plan and coordinate training programs for the department
- Supervise and manage Customer Service Officers
- Conduct onboarding and training for new employees
- Take a hands-on approach in daily warehouse operations when required
- Perform any other duties as assigned

(Section Manager)
- Oversee warehouse space planning and utilization strategies
- Lead manpower planning, workforce deployment, and resource optimization
- Drive continuous improvement in warehouse operations through innovation and technology
- Support overall P&L performance and operational targets
- Manage daily customer communications and operational issues
- Attend KPI and performance review meetings with clients
- Develop and implement training and development plans for the department
- Lead and manage Customer Service Officers and junior managers
- Provide coaching, guidance, and operational support to junior managers
- Maintain a hands-on approach to warehouse operations when necessary
- Perform any other duties as assigned

Requirement

【Requirement & Preferences 】

(Must)
- Minimum 5 years (Assistant Manager) / 8 years (Section Manager) of experience in 3PL or logistics warehouse operations
- Experience in warehouse operations and space utilization planning
- Experience managing a team of approximately 10-20 staff
- Strong experience in manpower planning, workforce allocation, and training
- Familiarity with warehouse certifications and standards such as TAPA, GMP, GDP, Halal, etc.
- Experience in risk assessment and operational compliance
- Knowledge of operational improvement through innovation and technology
