Responsibilities:
- Accept inbound shipments, verify their accuracy against delivery documentation, and confirm that both quality and quantity adhere to the company's standards.
- Examine shipments for any damages or inconsistencies and notify the Warehouse Supervisor of any issues.
- Record received items precisely in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Store products in assigned locations, optimizing space and handling items carefully to avoid damage.
- Keep inventory records up-to-date by regularly updating the warehouse management system.
- Perform routine stock counts and cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy and report any discrepancies.
- Select and package orders accurately according to customer specifications or internal requests.
- Ensure the FIFO or FEFO procedures are followed based on IMS guidelines to maintain inventory integrity.
- Consistently adhere to Good Distribution Practices.
Requirements:
- GCE O Level or equivalent
- 1 year experience in warehouse settings
- Experience in a healthcare setting is an added advantage
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy are essential.
