Team & Workforce Scheduling: Manage recruitment, training, and performance evaluations of frontline staff (warehouse & delivery workers). Design and implement shift schedules based on daily order volumes and delivery routes.
Warehouse Operations: Oversee inbound, storage, picking, inventory control, and dispatch processes ensure accuracy, efficiency, and on-time delivery.
Logistics & Delivery: Plan delivery routes, allocate fleet resources, and monitor end-to-end delivery performance, including handling exceptions (e.g., damaged goods, address changes).
Performance & Process Improvement: Track operational KPIs (error rate, timeliness, cost ratio) conduct regular reviews to identify issues and implement solutions.
Emergency Response: Support rapid deployment of backup staff, equipment, and vehicles during peak demand, delays, or weather disruptions.
Safety & Facility Management: Monitor the proper use of equipment (forklifts, cold-chain facilities, vehicles) ensure workplace safety standards are met and risks are mitigated. Collaboration: Liaise with procurement, sales, logistics partners, and customer service teams to ensure smooth coordination and timely issue resolution.
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations, preferably in food retail or e-commerce.
Solid understanding of warehouse workflows and last-mile delivery processes.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage shift schedules and manpower effectively.
Good communication and problem-solving skills proactive in handling emergencies and exceptions.
Experience in cold-chain or food logistics is highly desirable.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to operational demands.
