Waiter/Waitress

Reports To: Restaurant Manager / Floor Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are looking for an attentive, friendly, and reliable Waiter / Waitress to join our front-of-house team. The ideal candidate will ensure excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and drinks, and maintaining a clean and welcoming dining environment

Key Responsibilities:

. Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival

. Present menus, explain dishes, and offer recommendations

. Take accurate food and drink orders using a POS system

. Communicate orders to kitchen and bar staff clearly and efficiently

. Serve food and beverages in a timely and courteous manner

. Check in with guests during meals to ensure satisfaction

. Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally

. Process payments and issue receipts (cash, card, etc.)

. Clear tables, reset for new guests, and maintain cleanliness in the dining area

. Follow hygiene and safety regulations at all times

. Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth service

Requirements:

. Previous experience as a waiter/waitress or in a customer-facing role preferred

. Good communication and interpersonal skills

. Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure

. Basic math skills for handling bills and payments

. Able to work on weekends and public holidays

. Professional appearance and positive attitude

. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices (training provided if needed)

. 6 day work week based on roster shift
