Job Description & Requirements
Preparation
. Stock service areas with supplies such as wet towel, tableware, and crockery
. Perform food preparation duties such as preparing appetizers, and/or cold dishes, portioning desserts
. Prepare tables for meals, including setting up items such as crockery and menu
. Refill condiments
Table Service
. Usher customers to their tables
. Inform customers of daily specials and promotional items
. Present menus to customers and answer questions about menu items, making recommendations upon request
. Explain how various menu items are prepared, describing ingredients and cooking methods
. Take orders from customers for food or beverages
. Prepare hot, cold, and mixed drinks or dessert for customers
. Serve food or beverages to customers, and prepare or serve specialty dishes at tables as required
. Ensure customers satisfaction
. Remove dishes and glasses from tables or counters, and take them to kitchen for cleaning
. Clean tables or counters after customers have finished dining
Cashiering
. Collect payments from customers
. Previous F&B experience is an asset but not essential
. Good communication skills
. Social, energetic and be a team player
. Pleasant and cheerful personality
. Willing to learn and has passion for service industry
. Willing to provide the highest quality of service at all times
. Able to work on weekends and public holidays
. Able to perform shift duty
