The Waiter Supervisor leads the front-of-house service team to deliver consistent, high-quality dining service. This role oversees daily floor operations, staff scheduling, guest handling, service standards, and coordination with the kitchen to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction.
Supervise daily front-of-house operations (opening, service peak, closing).
Lead and coach wait staff on service standards, menu knowledge, and hygiene practices.
Prepare duty roster, allocate floor sections, and ensure adequate manpower.
Handle guest enquiries, feedback, and service recovery professionally.
Ensure accurate order-taking and timely service coordinate closely with kitchen and bar.
Monitor service quality, cleanliness, table setup, and overall restaurant presentation.
Conduct pre-shift briefings and daily checks (specials, promotions, reservations).
Support cashiering, bill settlement, and end-of-day reconciliation where required.
Ensure compliance with food safety, workplace safety, and company SOPs.
Assist in stock control of FOH items (cutlery, crockery, beverages, consumables).
Train new staff, manage attendance, and report performance/disciplinary issues to management.
