  • Supervise daily front-of-house operations of the Japanese restaurant
  • Lead service crew to deliver excellent customer dining experience
  • Welcome guests, manage seating arrangements and handle reservations
  • Ensure accurate taking and serving of food and beverage orders
  • Coordinate closely with kitchen team for smooth service operations
  • Train and guide service staff on service standards and SOPs
  • Prepare staff duty roster and assign daily responsibilities
  • Monitor cleanliness, hygiene and dining area presentation
  • Handle customer feedback and resolve service issues professionally
  • Assist in stock ordering and inventory control when required
  • Support cashiering, opening and closing duties
  • Ensure compliance with food hygiene and workplace safety standards

Requirements

  • Prior supervisory experience in Japanese restaurant preferred
  • Good leadership and customer service skills
  • Familiar with Japanese dining service standards is an advantage
  • Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
