Wealth Product Management

The Wealth Advisory in OCBC GCFS Wealth Management drives investment related and personal finance content creation, as well as communicates investment opportunities for customers to grow their wealth and manage portfolio risks.
As OCBC accelerates its transformation journey, this role will also play a key part in evolving the end-to-end advisory journeyleveraging data, digital capabilities and the responsible use of AI to enhance how we generate insights, deliver content, and enable frontline conversations at scale.
How You Succeed
To succeed in this role, you'll need to stay ahead of the curve in terms of market trends and customer needs, while having a strong aptitude for change and comfort in adopting new tools and ways of workingespecially AI-enabled capabilities.
You'll work closely with cross-functional teams (frontline, product, digital/technology, data/analytics, risk and compliance) to design, build and roll out new capabilities that strengthen advisory effectiveness, governance and customer outcomes. Your ability to balance business objectives with customer needs, and translate ideas into scalable, compliant execution will be crucial in driving success.
What You Do
- Create and develop content written materials, videos and podcasts to communicate OCBC's investment house views to help clients make more informed investment decisions. Content includes macro insights, investment/portfolio strategy commentary supporting our top conviction ideas, be it Unit Trusts, Structured Notes, Fixed Income, equities, currencies, and alternatives.
- Generate personal finance content to improve financial literacy and guide clients to make better financial decisions.
- Leveraging an internal framework, monitor client's portfolio holdings for changes in investment views, significant price volatility and adverse news, and communicate the outcome to stakeholders and clients.
- Host webinars, video recordings and internal wealth/investment related huddles.
- Support the broader team by maintaining and enhancing excel models, spreadsheets, and other tasks to deliver more effective Wealth Advisory services and content for the front office and clients.
- Drive the transformation of the advisory journey by partnering with digital, data and technology teams to design and deliver new platforms, tools and workflows that improve advisor productivity and client engagement.
- Leverage AI responsibly to enhance research synthesis, insight generation, content production, personalisation and next-best-action supportwhile ensuring outputs remain explainable, auditable and fit-for-purpose for advisory use.
- Work closely with frontline stakeholders to test, iterate and embed new capabilities into daily routines, ensuring adoption and measurable impact.
- Partner with Risk and Compliance to ensure new capabilities, data usage and AI-enabled workflows meet governance, suitability and conduct standards, including appropriate controls and documentation.
- Involvement in wealth management related projects as is necessary.
Who You Are
- A degree in a relevant field, such as finance, business, or economics
- At least 5 to 7 years of experience in sales and advisory roles will be preferred.
- Strong understanding of wealth management products and services
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated comfort working with data, models and digital tools
- Strong aptitude for change and a practical, hands-on comfort with AI tools to enable new capabilities (e.g., AI-assisted insight generation, content workflows, decision support)
- Experience partnering with digital/technology teams to shape platforms, journeys or workflow enhancements from concept to rollout
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, including ability to work with frontline, product, technology, risk and compliance to deliver outcomes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
