Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and rollout acquisition strategies to grow the share margin financing and other leverage business opportunities.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders, such as DBS Vickers and Wealth Teams, to drive business growth.
  • Explore and maintain business dealings with external brokers through the Business Development Team (BDM).
  • Manage the P&L of SMF to achieve the budgeted revenue target for the year.
  • Improve operational processes and workflow to achieve operational efficiency, cost savings, customer journey & experience and good risk management, meet compliance, policies and regulations standards.
  • Re-imagine Share Margin Financing onboarding journey and custodial structure -- aligning and integrating with Vickers. Work with (platform owner, T&O, Wealth) to implement CDP 6.1 changes delivering consolidation of assets (including equities) into omnibus structure and simplification of processes such as transfer of shares

Requirements

  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of the deposits and secured loans market, as well as the ability to identify and capitalize on emerging trends.
  • Proven track record in leading and developing high-performing teams, with a focus on driving results and achieving targets.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in data analysis and financial modeling, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing successful acquisition strategies and business development initiatives.
