Responsibilities
Job Description
- Support the Bank in managing the distributed system changes with change management, control and deployment.
- Review and assess risk associated with requested change.
- Make sound decisions on the upstream and downstream impact of change based upon understanding of the Bank's environment.
- Establish control processes and procedures to effectively manage change.
- Drive and contribute to automation initiatives - driving productivity, recommending improvements, remediation and operational excellence using quality methodologies to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Manage Operating System Patch management, including evaluation, testing and deployment.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree from a recognized university.
- Experienced with ITIL methodology, with emphasis on Change and Deployment Management.
- Proven experience with operating systems, including one or more of the following:
- AIX
- HP-UX
- RedHat Enterprise Linux
- Solaris
- Windows Server
- VMware
- XenApp
- Working level experience with various systems applications, including:
- JBoss
- WebLogic
- Websphere
- Connect Direct
- MQ
- Kafka
- OpenShift Container Platform
- Webservers
- Experience with patch management
- Experience with automation tools such as BigFix, Chef, etc
- Experience with Robotic Process Automation
- Experience in Security Audit assessment on operating systems compliance and vulnerability
- Provide On-Call 24x7 support on a rotating basis
- Self-starter, flexible, good team player and able to work under minimum supervision
- Strong in developing processes and maintaining comprehensive documentation
- Ability to articulate, possess strong technical communication and interpersonal skills
