- Define product vision and technology strategic objectives
- Define product roadmap, which outlines features and functionality that will be developed over time
- Gather/analyse business requirements and collaborate with business stakeholders to prioritize features based on business goals and technical feasibility
- Work closely with business product manager, business stakeholders, technology leads, engineering teams and designers to drive best practices and ensure the highest quality and standards are applied
- Ensure dynamic, incremental, and continuous delivery of the product that brings value to the business in an agile and sustainable manner
- Collaborate with peer teams within GIC on multidiscipline projects and front-office and back-office initiatives
- Interact with financial institutions, international banks and brokers, vendors and solution providers for new business requirements/initiatives
What makes you a successful candidate
- At least 12 years of experience in the financial industry, with subject matter knowledge in Fixed Income domain.The candidate should have a proven track record of working with business and leading technology teams to develop business capabilities
- Strong background in product development, with experience in defining and driving the development of a software product
- Good understanding of design principles and user experience (UX) design, as well as the ability to work effectively with designers
- Well-versed in Agile software development methodologies, with hands on experience in working as part of highly effective Agile software development team using Scrum, Kanban, or other agile frameworks
- Hands on experience in conducting business analysis functions, stakeholder management, solution designing, and software test planning
- Ability to strive in a highly collaborative and dynamic environment, communicate effectively with business stakeholders, technology leads, software developers and IT subject matter experts
- Experience in managing Blackrock Aladdin platform is an added advantage
- Experience in vendor management and production support of front office applications is an added advantage
- Working experience as a technologist in the Front Office (such as Program/Project Manager, Business Analyst or Software Engineer) is an added advantage
