Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and optimize data, services and terminal subscriptions across Maybank Investment Banking Group for Equities.
- Optimize and ensure compliance with exchange license agreements, policies and redistribution requirements.
- Serve as the primary contact point between exchanges and data vendors for ongoing business, contract negotiations and/or renewals and usage reporting.
- Rationalize and drive efficiency initiatives such as usage and service reviews to optimize spend.
- Lead market data audits and ensure reporting readiness and accuracy.
- Provide regular reporting and strategic recommendations to senior management.
- Keep abreast with regulatory and exchange policy updates and market developments.
Requirements:
- Candidate must have completed an undergraduate degree.
- At least 10 years relevant experience working with equities market data, terminal management or exchanges.
- Strong knowledge of exchange and market data policies, redistribution frameworks and licensing requirements.
- Familiarity with market data entitlement and inventory management.
- Strong analytical skills with an attention to detail and follow through.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives with competing timelines.
- A team player with a positive attitude and ability to work across the organization at various levels.
