Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Financial Controller to oversee the financial operations of our organization in Singapore. You will be responsible for managing financial planning, reporting, compliance, and ensuring accurate financial records to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting and finance operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and forecasts
- Manage budgeting, financial planning, and variance analysis
- Ensure compliance with Singapore financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting standards
- Implement and maintain internal controls and financial policies
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial performance metrics
- Collaborate with senior management to provide financial insights and recommendations
- Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring high performance and development
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, ACCA, or equivalent preferred
- 510 years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial management roles
- Strong knowledge of Singapore financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards (SFRS/IFRS)
- Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
- Experience in a multinational or fast-growing organization is a plus
