The Opportunity:

Adecco is partnering with a high-growth fabless semiconductor company at the forefront of optical connectivity. The company specializes in high-performance analog ICs, silicon photonics, and optical interconnect solutions for AI, data centers, and high-speed networking.

With an established design and operations presence across the US, Europe, and Asia, the company is expanding its global footprint by establishing a Silicon Photonics R&D Center in Singapore.
We are seeking a VP of Operations to join as one of the pioneering leadership team members, responsible for building and overseeing the Operations organization, encompassing Manufacturing Operations/NPI, Supply Chain, Quality, Customer Support, and Facilities.

This strategic leadership position requires extensive industry experience, strong supplier networks, and the ability to leverage internal and external resources to achieve cost, quality, delivery, and product ramp-up objectives in a high-growth fabless semiconductor environment.

The Job:

  • Build and lead the Operations organization, covering Manufacturing Operations/NPI, Quality, Supply Chain, Customer Support, and Facilities.
  • Drive operational excellence across manufacturing yield, cycle time, on-time delivery, cost optimization, and supplier performance.
  • Oversee technical programs and manage strategic relationships with key customers and business partners.
  • Develop and scale operational processes, systems, and teams to support rapid business growth.
  • Define and execute supply chain strategies across foundry, semiconductor packaging, testing, logistics, sourcing, cost management, and risk mitigation.
  • Lead Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), demand and supply planning, capacity management, inventory optimization, and customer delivery.
  • Oversee Quality Management Systems (QMS) and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
  • Lead the selection, implementation, and optimization of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to support business operations.

The Talent:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline. An MBA is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 12 years of progressive experience in semiconductor, photonics, or high-tech electronics operations and manufacturing management, with 15+ years preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the semiconductor manufacturing value chain, including wafer fabrication, packaging, testing, and supply chain operations. Experience in silicon photonics, high-speed analog/optical ICs, or AI interconnect technologies would be a strong advantage.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and executive-level communication skills, with the ability to influence technical and business stakeholders.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of managing complex commercial discussions with suppliers and customers.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making capabilities, with the ability to navigate ambiguity in a rapidly scaling environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams across multiple locations in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills, with proven experience in change management, ERP implementation, and business process transformation.

Next Steps:

  • Prepare your updated resume (please include your current salary package with a full breakdown such as base, incentives, annual wage supplement, etc.) and expected package.
  • Apply through this application or send your resume to [Confidential Information] in MS Word Copy. We'd love to hear from you!
