Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operational activities to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
  • Lead four specialized teams handling Treasury, Trade Finance, Loans, and Private Banking operations.
  • Identify process inefficiencies and operational gaps, and implement robust controls and process enhancements.
  • Spearhead transformational and improvement projects to drive operational excellence.
  • Collaborate closely with team leaders to identify skills gaps and training needs, fostering a culture of learning and development.
  • Mentor and motivate staff to ensure high performance and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Serve as the escalation point for operational issues, resolving them swiftly and effectively.

Requirements

  • Minimum 12 years of experience in Banking Operations, with deep expertise in any of the domains.
  • Proven experience managing large, diverse teams and driving people development initiatives.
  • Strong track record in process optimization, change management, and project delivery.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure and lead through change.
  • Effective communication skills in both English and Chinese (to liaise with Mandarin-speaking counterparts at HQ).
