VP of Growth, APAC

About the role

The VP of Growth, APAC is responsible for driving The Great Room's commercial performance and growth across the region. This role leads revenue strategy and sales execution, builds a high-performing APAC sales organisation, and supports market expansion through strategic partnerships, real estate initiatives, and new revenue streams.

You will be responsible for driving the end-to-end real estate strategy - from market mapping and sourcing, to deal structuring, negotiations, and execution of new locations.

You will work closely with the C-suite, Design & Construction, and Finance teams to ensure each site aligns with our brand, financial performance goals, and long-term portfolio strategy.

The VP of Growth & Commercial, APAC, will report to the Managing Director.

What you'll do

Revenue & Commercial Strategy

  • Own and drive top-line revenue growth and commercial performance across APAC

  • Define and execute the regional commercial strategy, ensuring sustainable growth across existing and new markets

  • Lead revenue performance across all products and solutions, including Coworking, TXM, Managed Solutions, Ancillary Services, and Events

  • Set pricing, product strategy, product mix, and go-to-market approaches by market

  • Lead revenue forecasting, country-level performance tracking, and alignment to EBITDA targets

  • Balance investment and growth between new market entry and existing portfolio optimisation

  • Lead the account management function, including key relationships with large occupiers, global brokers, and corporate real estate leaders

Sales Leadership & Execution

  • Translate commercial strategy into daily sales execution and performance

  • Own occupancy and revenue per location across the APAC portfolio

  • Build, lead, and develop the APAC sales organisation, including goal-setting, incentives, and performance management

  • Ensure strong sales execution, including pipeline management, inventory optimisation, closing discipline, and conversion

  • Lead key account management and client retention, including cross-market account management in partnership with Industrious

  • Drive successful new market launches, including launch playbooks, go-to-market plans, broker engagement, PR coordination, hiring, and sales coaching

  • Oversee sales operations and reporting, including forecasting, pipeline reviews, analytics, and target-setting

  • Build and maintain strong broker relationships and key sales partners across the region

Strategic Business Development & Partnerships

  • Lead and deepen the CBRE partnership, unlocking growth opportunities across TXM and Managed Solutions

  • Develop and maintain strategic landlord and developer relationships, including portfolio-level opportunities

  • Identify and secure revenue-generating partnerships to support expansion into new and existing APAC markets

New Market Entry

  • Support and ensure successful entry into new APAC markets

  • Partner on site selection, landlord engagement, product development, marketing, and launch execution

  • Support team hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management for new markets

APAC Leadership & Cross-Functional Influence

  • Act as a key APAC leadership voice, contributing thought leadership across the business

  • Foster strong leadership, culture, and talent development across the region

  • Support regional and global alignment with Industrious, including brand cohesion and successful integration

  • Contribute to real estate growth strategy, in close collaboration with the Head of APAC Real Estate Growth

  • Provide commercial input into design and product relevance, ensuring alignment with market expectations and Industrious standards

  • Partner with Marketing to ensure brand consistency and commercial alignment across APAC

Who you are

Requirements

  • Hold a degree or master's degree in finance, economics, or real estate or an equivalent qualification

  • 8-12 years of relevant experience in commercial real estate, preferably with exposure to flexible workspace, hospitality, or mixed-use developments

  • A strong track record of sourcing and closing real estate transactions across multiple cities or countries (including minority shareholding and leasing)

  • Deep experience in lease negotiations, financial modeling, and investment analysis

  • Have an established relationship network with key business contacts in APAC

  • Proven leadership in managing internal and external stakeholders across complex, multi-market projects

  • High business acumen and sound judgment, with the ability to balance brand, financial, and operational priorities

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

  • Self-motivated, solutions-oriented, and comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment

  • Willingness to travel regionally as needed

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Require updated resume and track record
