The candidate will support the credit operations team in drafting and checking Letters of Offer (LO) for lending to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), ensuring accuracy, compliance, and completeness of documentation. The role involves close collaboration with Relationship Managers and adherence to established operational procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
LO Drafting & Verification
- Read credit approvals and note all required clauses for drafting LO.
- Perform system enquiries to verify information in credit approvals.
- Draft LO as a maker, including required attachments (e.g., Board Resolutions, Fire Insurance forms) for checking by designated checkers.
- Progress to become a checker to review draft LOs prepared by makers.
Stakeholder Liaison
- Liaise with Relationship Managers on matters related to the drafting of LO/letters.
- Ensure queries and clarifications from stakeholders are resolved in a timely and accurate manner.
Reporting & Administrative Support
- Assist in preparing or checking reports related to LO processing.
- Support other administrative duties as assigned by the Team Leader or Division Head.
Job Requirements:
- Recognized tertiary education.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in lending to SMEs.
- Meticulous with strong organizational and planning skills.
- Good writing and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
