Our client is a well-established financial institution with a growing presence in Singapore. As part of their continued expansion, they are looking to appoint a VP, Information Technology, to lead and strengthen their IT function locally.
This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the end-to-end IT function in Singapore. You will drive operational excellence while ensuring a secure, scalable and business-aligned technology environment.

- Lead day-to-day operations, covering infrastructure, systems and end-user support.
- Establish and maintain robust IT policies, controls and governance frameworks.
- Partner closely with business units to understand needs and deliver effective technological solutions.
- Manage the full lifecycle of IT systems, from selection and implementation to ongoing optimisation.
- Oversee IT budgeting, vendor management and resource planning.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing IT team.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and recommend enhancements to strengthen IT capabilities.
You are a hands-on IT leader with a strong foundation in infrastructure and operations, combined with the ability to operate at a strategic level.
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of hands-on experience spanning IT leadership, infrastructure and system management, preferably within the Financial Industry.
- Strong expertise in managing IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and end-users computing, and software applications.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities to resolve complex IT issues.
- A proven ability to implement effective IT security policies aligned with Singapore regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring IT teams.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and a track record of IT projects delivery.
- Effective communication skills in English and Mandarin, as the position deals with Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
