Position Summary: The incumbent will lead the development and execution of global quality strategies to ensure product reliability, compliance, and customer satisfaction across all regions. This role is responsible for establishing robust quality systems, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and implement global quality and reliability strategies aligned with business objectives. Establish policies, procedures, and standards for quality assurance across all sites.
- Oversee global quality systems, including ISO certifications and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and root cause analysis processes.
- Develop and monitor reliability programs for products and processes.
- Drive initiatives to improve product performance and reduce field failures.
- Partner with R&D, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to embed quality into design and production.
- Engage with customers and suppliers to ensure quality expectations are met.
- Lead global initiatives for process optimization and defect reduction.
- Implement data-driven approaches for quality metrics and reporting.
- Build and manage a high-performing global quality team.
- Foster a culture of accountability and excellence in quality practices.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum Master's degree or Ph.D. in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in quality and reliability roles, with at least 8 years in leadership positions.
- Proven experience in semiconductor, photonics, or high-tech manufacturing industries.
- Demonstrated experience in achieving and maintaining ISO certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001) across multiple sites.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and reliability methodologies (e.g., FMEA, Six Sigma).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
