Project Management:
- Manage and deliver the cybersecurity project tracks from inception to completion, ensuring high quality and timely delivery within scope and budget.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, product managers, and business stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with development teams to ensure timely and efficient product development, leveraging agile methodologies.
- Track progress against milestones and deadlines, ensuring that the product is delivered on time and within scope.
- Identify and mitigate project delivery risks that could impact the product's success.
- Provide regular project status tracking and reporting, communications to internal tech and business stakeholders. Leverage JIRA boards for proactive project status monitoring and automated reporting. Manage daily stand-ups and sprint review meetings as well.
- Responsible for managing vendor teams supporting the implementation of cybersecurity project tracks.
- Identify, assess, and manage risks associated with cyber security programs.
- Develop mitigation strategies and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Implement best practices and continuous improvement processes within CSR.
- Conduct post-project evaluations and apply lessons learned to future initiatives.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in cyber security program management.
Stakeholder Management:
- Work closely with product managers, business users, vendor teams, and change management team to ensure smooth rollout and adoption of the cybersecurity platform and its services.
- Lead delivery resources to ensure they meet project requirements, align with business needs, and the product is released on time and with good quality.
- Communicate product plans, progress, and updates to stakeholders, including product managers, business users, vendor teams, and change management team.
What qualifications or skills should you possess in this role
- Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in cybersecurity or information technology, with at least 5 years in a program/project management leadership role and a strong track record of successful project delivery.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale cybersecurity or information technology programs and projects.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and regulations (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR).
- Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or other relevant certifications preferred.
- Financial skill and knowledge in terms of understanding budgets and reporting.
- Knowledge of change management is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
