We are seeking an experiencedVice President, Credit Riskto join our Corporate Banking risk function. This role plays a critical part in supporting the growth of the corporate loan portfolio while ensuring robust credit risk assessment, governance, and portfolio management across a diverse client base.
Responsibilities:
- Lead credit risk assessment and approval for corporate banking transactions, including bilateral and syndicated lending, structured facilities, and ancillary products
- Review and approve credit proposals, financial models, and risk ratings in line with internal policies and regulatory standards
- Provide independent challenge to relationship managers on deal structure, risk mitigants, and covenant packages
- Monitor and manage a portfolio of corporate counterparties, identifying emerging risks and recommending proactive risk actions
- Contribute to portfolio analysis, stress testing, sector reviews, and early warning indicators
- Support problem credit management, including restructurings and remediation strategies where required
- Engage with senior stakeholders across Front Office, Legal, Finance, and Compliance
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in a related field
- At least 10 years of Credit Risk experience in a Corporate Banking setting
- Familiar with Corporate Banking products
- Proven leadership experience
- Ability to manage and work with regional stakeholders
