about the job
- Performing credit risk evaluation
- Evaluating, providing recommendations and approving of credit applications across different segments of the bank, flagging and mitigating potential credit risk issues
- Reviewing and evaluating credit risk gradings and justifying rejections and alternative resolutions
- Abiding by delegated and product limits, staying compliant to credit guidelines and regulatory requirements
- Stay updated on market, business and industry trends and handling related operational aspects
- Attending client meetings with relevant representatives from different business units, gathering information to understand their needs and structuring credit solutions

skills and experience required
- Degree in Accountancy, Business Management, Banking & Finance and Economics
- At least 10 years of credit risk experience in Corporate/ SME banking
- Strong knowledge in credit underwriting and financial analysis, interpreting financial statements and basic financial accounting knowledge
- Sound knowledge credit-related regulations
