VP, Corporate Strategy (Group Level / Transformation / Financial Industry)

Responsibilities:

• Support the development and definition of corporate strategic priorities, collaborating with various business and functional units to ensure alignment.
• Evaluate opportunities for mergers and acquisitions, new business partnerships, and strategic alliances, assessing alignment with corporate strategy.
• Drive the planning and design of business initiatives to meet corporate strategic goals.
• Oversee the coordination of annual business planning cycles.
• Provide secretariat support to management committees.
• Prepare and submit regular reports to Board committees, regulatory bodies, and rating agencies.
• Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

• Possess a Degree or professional qualification in Business, Finance, Actuarial Science, Accountancy, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in accountancy, finance, or project management roles.
• Proven experience in coordinating annual business planning cycles and prioritizing strategic initiatives.
• Strong communication skills with an ability to collaborate across various business functions and offer secretarial support to management committees.
• High level of ownership, accountability, and result-oriented mindset.
• Proficient in evaluating business proposals and assessing their strategic fit with corporate objectives.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and foster clarity in a dynamic environment.
