VP, Commercial, APAC

As our business changes and evolves, we are looking for someone to lead our publisher and commercial practice in APAC.
Your role is to own our publisher relationships and commercial governance across the client base, lead the implementation of regional and global investment programmes as well as ensuring the agency is pricing and negotiating the services it provides to the necessary financial parameters to have a healthy and profitable business.
The VP, Commercial will be part of the global commercial community and work into the Global Commercial Leadership, whilst being a key partner to the Regional CEO alongside client and activation teams, ensuring that the agency brings our strategic alliances to life and we operate with compliance and against the goals of the commercial strategy to maximize every commercial opportunity, across both clients and the media partners we work with.

1. Commercial Leadership
• Lead and develop a strong commercial practice across the region by creating and delivering a measurable and impactful commercial strategy that aligns with global objectives, ensuring accountability and maximizing income, margin, and partner and client revenue throughout the financial year.
• Work with finance, investment management and the global commercial director on forecasting and recognition of revenue and income on ongoing basis
2. Contractual Commitments
• Delivery on margin target client pricing – both for new business and for existing clients
• Ensure compliance with client contracts by collaborating with finance and legal, including regular reviews on performance against local and global arrangements.
3. Client Engagement & Client Growth
• Be client facing, where required, as the commercial face of the region and lead client re-negotiations and new business proposals, as well as being in pitches
• Drive innovation by establishing new partnerships and commercial opportunities with local and regional media partners, serving as the agency's representative to strengthen these relationships and bringing these to life to grow client engagements.
• Ensure that the latest agency and publisher solutions are effectively packaged and communicated to both existing and prospective clients, enhancing engagement and understanding, and driving growth.
