The Business Development role is to manage trading platform project delivery and to maintain the trading platform after implementation with our trading and technology teams.
This role will be directly reporting to Prime Services Asia business head and collaborate with business teams based in SG/HK/UK, technology teams in SG/MY and product owners to maintain governance, scale, efficiency and service offering to our customers.
Job Responsibilities
- Managing end-to-end delivery of platform on-boarding through various phases of the project including planning, RFP, selection, requirement gathering, implementation and testing
- Engaging internal and external stakeholders for the project tasks to gather and document requirements, technical assessments and solution delivery
- Liaising with project team and governance committees to ensure alignment with strategic and business goals
- Bridge the gap between business users and technical teams by translating business requirements into technical documentation with the system providers and internal technology teams
- Responsible for day-to-day trading platform maintenance with the trading team and system provider in terms of new implementations, issues resolution and defining the roadmap
- Managing the vendor governance and cost of the platform from project budget and on-going basis
- Draft and implement trading platform operating model and work flows in collaboration with stakeholders and governance teams
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years proven experience in the similar trading platform project or management role
- Deep understanding of order management systems, financial markets, regulatory environment (both technical and business), risk frameworks and market data
- High pressure stakeholder management, analytic thinking and the ability to bridge gap between users and technical teams
- Understanding of FIX protocols, APIs, file transfer methods and user interface experience
- Strong experience in vendor governance management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts into clear and concise communication
- Organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and projects
- Proven ability to translate conceptual and design work into successful delivery
