This role sits within the CBG Digital Banking COO Office, serving as the planning and governance engine for the department. The team drives strategic alignment, oversees performance and scorecards, coordinates management reporting, and ensures strong controls, structure, and operational discipline across digital banking initiatives. We enable leadership decision-making, orchestrate key forums and engagements, and ensure priorities are executed effectively with clear oversight and accountability.
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for a strategic business management professional to support the department's planning, governance, and performance management efforts, driving strategic planning and align department priorities to business goals, closely track and monitor performance metrics, scorecard & key deliverables. This role will work closely with the leadership team, to ensure operational discipline, and maintain strong oversight of priorities and outcomes.
Job scope
- Lead the creation of high-impact, strategic business decks for senior management and executive forums, translating complex initiatives to clear, compelling narratives that drive alignment and decision-making. This would include engaging both internal and external stakeholders to provide data, project updates, risks, sometimes within very short deadlines
- Curate, lead and front end-to-end planning and execution of department meetings, townhalls and key engagements, including agenda, logistics, content and engagement activities
- Develop highquality materials for internal, external, and crossfunctional audiences, including learning journeys, best practices, and success stories showcasing digital capabilities and transformation outcomes
- Accountable and responsible in identifying operational risks, audit/regulatory/compliance issues (e.g. EUPG, SRF, change management) across the CBG Digital Banking Department (across all journeys and processes), ensure deliverables are delivered within timelines
- Enforce and ensure strict compliance with internal and external policies, regulatory requirements in all activities relating to digital services (e.g. onboarding, user executed system changes attended CRs)
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency of current processes (e.g. automation) across the department to reduce employee toil and repetitive tasks (e.g. GL Reconciliation)
- Align, track and monitor the departments digital strategic priorities/scorecard, providing visibility on progress, risks and dependencies to ensure delivery and effective execution of strategy and priorities
- Support the CBG Digital Banking's COO Office in driving and developing the overall top of house views of digital banking strategy, roadmap and strategic agenda to drive the business and department's scorecard, whilst having strong corporate governance in place
Qualifications & Skills
- Holds a Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience in banking, business or management
- Strong experience in business planning, governance, or strategy execution within digital, technology, or transformation environments
- Solid understanding of risk management, audit processes, and regulatory compliance in a digital or technology context
- Exceptional attention to detail, resilient, calm, and decisive under extreme pressure, able to manage multiple urgent requests simultaneously
- Effective problem solver with the ability to navigate ambiguity and a strong sense of business acumen
- Demonstrates strong follow-up capabilities; highly responsive and proactive
- Highly skilled in preparing presentations, memos, and speaking engagement materials for senior management
- Self-motivated professional with substantial experience in developing and executing innovative ideas
- Consistently delivers timely and high-quality results on KPIs and projects, embraces creative thinking, challenges the status quo, and seeks continuous improvement
