Job Purpose
This pivotal role will be responsible for overseeing the digital transformation journey of finance business processes within DBS. This includes a comprehensive approach - from understanding current landscapes to the successful development and adoption of AI-powered automation.
This role requires strong analytical rigor, the ability to think out of the box and excellent stakeholder management to ensure that all solutions are tailored, effective, and aligned with the bank's strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
- Process Analysis & Requirement Definition
- Conduct in-depth analysis of existing finance business processes to identify pain points, inefficiencies, and opportunities for digital transformation
- Translate complex business requirements and operational challenges into clear, concise, and actionable technical specifications for the engineering team
- Work closely with business users to gather feedback, validate understanding, and refine requirements throughout the project lifecycle
- Solution Design & Development Partnership
- Champion the adoption of AI and ML tools, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within finance processes
- Act as a key liaison between finance stakeholders and engineering teams, ensuring mutual understanding and alignment on project goals and technical approaches
- Partner with engineering teams in the design and architecture of robust, scalable, and user-friendly digital products
- Project Delivery & Quality Assurance
- Implement and manage quality assurance processes, including thorough testing and validation of developed solutions to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues that could impact project timelines or deliverables
- User Adoption & Training
- Develop and execute strategies for business user training and adoption of new digital tools and processes
- Provide ongoing support and gather feedback from business users post-implementation to identify areas for continuous improvement and further enhancement
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, Finance, or related fields
- 6-10 years of experience in a technology leadership, product management, or business analyst role, ideally within the financial services industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into technical requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with LLMs, vector stores, retrieval pipelines, orchestration frameworks, and guardrail systems
- Comfortable working with emerging technologies
- Educate stakeholders on AI capabilities and risk
