Role Overview
We are seeking a meticulous and reliable intern to support the Volunteer Management and Membership Services team. The role will involve managing confidential data, digitalising and maintaining organised filing systems, and assisting in membership and volunteer-related administration. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail, a strong sense of responsibility when handling private information, and the ability to spot discrepancies accurately.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with filing, data entry, and digitalising membership and volunteer records.
- Scan, organise, and upload documents into digital systems for easy access and security.
- Handle confidential information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
- Check for discrepancies in data and ensure accuracy across records and systems.
- Support membership services, including updating contact lists and assisting with communications.
- Assist with volunteer administration, such as scheduling, documentation, and basic queries.
- Provide general administrative support to the Volunteer Management and Membership Services functions.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies in data.
- High level of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive information.
- Organised, methodical, and comfortable working with both physical and digital filing systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Interest in non-profit/charity sector, volunteerism, or community engagement is a plus.
