Role Overview

Voice Assistant Interaction Segmentation:

In this role, you will listen to long-form audio recordings between users and Voice Assistance and segment them into distinct, meaningful user interactions

Your work ensures that each Voice Assistance-user exchange is accurately identified and contextually complete helping enhance conversational AI systems and voice recognition models.

Labeling & Transcription:

You will label speaker turns and accurately transcribe user speech, following detailed annotation guidelines and localized trigger phrases specific to English (Singapore).

Project Requirements

• Proficiency in English (Singapore): Must be native in English (Singapore).
• Listening Skills: Strong comprehension and attention to audio cues such as pauses, tone shifts, and speaker changes.
• Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret conversational flow and identify intent boundaries within audio.
• Work Environment: Remote work from the comfort of your home.
• Tools & Access: Must be able to use Centific's online task platforms and follow provided workflow guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Listen to long audio recordings to identify the start and end of each Voice Assistance-user interaction.
• Segment the audio into complete, meaningful interactions that include user requests and Voice Assistance's responses.
• Group repetitive or follow-up questions into a single segment if they share the same intent.
• Detect and flag any impostor voices or unclear audio segments.
• Label speaker turns and accurately transcribe user speech according to provided guidelines
• Ensure logical and linguistic accuracy for every interaction segment.
• Maintain high quality and consistency following Centific's 100% accuracy standard.
• Participate in feedback or QA sessions to continuously improve performance.

Focus on Model Improvement

Your careful segmentation, Labeling & Transcription and attention to conversational detail will directly contribute to improving Voice Assistance's ability to understand, respond, and learn from natural human speech making every user interaction smoother and smarter.

Availability

• Able to commit 45 hours per day minimum (full-time preferred).
• Must adhere to Centific's working time and productivity expectations.

Communication

• Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate with project leads and QA reviewers.
• Open to participating in training or calibration sessions when required.

• Use of AI tools, automation, or speech recognition software for this task is strictly prohibited.
• All segmentation must be done manually through active listening.
• Successful completion of onboarding and certification is mandatory before production.
