The opportunity
Job Description:
A boutique adult-focused music school in Singapore, located near Chinatown MRT. We specialise in Mandarin pop singing and are looking for passionate vocal or pop singing coaches to join us - full-time .
No teaching experience is required - we welcome skilled singers with strong communication skills who are willing to learn and grow with us.
Responsibilities:
- Teach one-on-one and small group vocal / pop singing classes (mostly adult students)
- Adapt lessons to each student's vocal needs, goals and preferred songs
- Most students sing Mandarin pop - familiarity with Mandopop is preferred
- Track student progress and provide helpful, personalised feedback
- Support occasional student performances or recitals
- Build positive rapport with students and contribute to a warm learning environment
What We're Looking For:
- Strong singing ability (good pitch, rhythm and expression)
- Familiarity with Mandarin pop music, or willingness to learn
- Basic piano/guitar accompaniment is helpful but not required
- Patient, friendly, and able to communicate clearly
- Passion for helping adult learners grow in confidence and skill
- Weekend availability is required (weekday rest days)
