Job Summary

Deliver engaging violin lessons and prepare students for ABRSM exams and performances while supporting their progression and retention in a collaborative, high-performance teaching environment.

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging violin lessons to students aged 3.5 years to adults, adapting teaching methods to individual learning needs
Prepare students effectively for ABRSM exams and public performances, ensuring skill mastery and confidence
Guide prospective students from trial lessons to long-term enrolment, fostering sustained engagement
Support student progression and retention through personalized feedback and motivational strategies
Participate actively in recitals and academy events to showcase student achievements and promote community
Collaborate closely with a high-performing teaching team to share best practices and enhance curriculum delivery

Required competencies and certifications

Diploma or Degree in Music
Minimum 2 years of violin teaching experience
Proficient in violin performance and ABRSM theory

Preferred competencies and qualifications

Passionate and driven attitude with strong interpersonal skills to engage and motivate students

Salary & Incentives

Base salary: $5200/month
Incentives: $800 - $2,500/month
Top performers can earn $6,000 - $7,700+/month
