Videographer, Lianhe Zaobao
As a Videographer, you will be expected to:
- Collaborate with Producers/Journalists on story conceptualisation and angle development, to filming and producing compelling video content for digital platforms.
- Support regular maintenance and technical upgrades of in-house facilities and equipment.
- Operate a range of equipment including video cameras, DSLRs and remote-controlled cameras to deliver production requirements.
- Improve workflows, adapt to new equipment and system set-ups, as well as evolving production technologies.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in relevant field; Good knowledge of location lighting, sound recording, and familiarity with with MCP crew operations would be advantageous
- Experienced in documentary and commercial shooting style
- Proficient in English and Chinese, as this role supports Chinese-language publications
- Skilled in operating digital video cameras, lighting and sound equipments
- Competent in relevant software - Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, PC and MAC operating systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to work under tight timelines, both independently and as a team player; Willingness to learn other applications as needed.
- Able to work on shifts including nights, weekends and public holidays
