Key responsibilities include:
Manage and monitor the Video Surveillance System (VSS) installed across the construction worksite.
Ensure that all surveillance cameras and monitoring equipment are operational and properly positioned to cover critical work areas.
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks of surveillance equipment to ensure continuous operation.
Coordinate with the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) team to support site safety monitoring and incident investigation.
Maintain records of surveillance footage and ensure proper storage and retrieval procedures.
Assist in reviewing video recordings for safety audits, incident investigations, and compliance verification.
Report any malfunction, system failure, or security concern to the project management and technical support team.
Ensure that the operation of the surveillance system complies with project security policies and workplace safety requirements.
Liaise with the Superintending Officer (S.O.) and relevant stakeholders on VSS-related matters when required.
Must meet the Workplace Safety and Health Council (WSHC) competency requirements for managing video surveillance systems at construction worksites under the Workplace Safety and Health Council guidelines.
Preferably minimum 1 year of experience in managing or operating video surveillance systems in construction worksites.
Familiarity with CCTV monitoring systems, recording devices, and surveillance equipment.
Basic understanding of construction site safety practices and monitoring requirements.
Ability to review and maintain surveillance records and incident documentation.
Good communication and coordination skills to work with the site safety team and project management.
Ability to respond promptly to surveillance alerts, incidents, or system issues.
