We're looking for a creative and hands-on Video Production Intern to join our team! You'll be tasked with filming and editing engaging video content that showcases unique event venues listed on Venuexplorer. Your work will bring our spaces to life and help event planners and businesses discover the perfect locations for their events.
Responsibilities
- Visit selected partner venues to shoot promotional video content (interior/exterior, facilities, ambiance, etc.)
- Conduct short interviews with venue owners or managers where applicable
- Edit raw footage into polished 1-2 min promo videos for use on social media and our platform
- Add captions, light motion graphics, and music as needed
- Work with our marketing team to align content with brand tone and objectives
- Organize and maintain video content files for easy access and distribution
Requirements
- Currently studying or recently graduated in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field
- Proficient in video editing software (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro)
- Familiar with basic shooting gear (DSLRs, gimbals, mics, etc.)
- A creative eye for framing, transitions, and storytelling
- Able to work independently and manage shooting schedules
- Portfolio or sample work is a must
Bonus Points
- Experience with TikTok/Reels-style edits or fast-paced commercial content
- Basic animation/motion graphics experience (After Effects or Canva Pro)
