Video Marketing Designer

Location: Beijing / Singapore

About the Role

Create product videos and UI motion that explain features and workflows clearly. Own scripts, storyboards, animation and post-production, working with the product team to deliver finished videos.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with product managers to understand features, target users and communication priorities, and define the product value and use cases the video should convey.
• Develop scripts and storyboards that translate abstract product logic into understandable narratives, visuals and motion concepts.
• Produce UI animation, editing and compositing independently, manage the production process, and deliver finished promotional videos to project requirements.
• Maintain visual style, motion timing and image quality so the final video fits the brand, product positioning and communication requirements.
• Study SaaS and AI product animation from local and international teams, and use project feedback to refine production methods and content quality.

Requirements

• Proficiency with animation and post-production software such as After Effects, Premiere Pro or Blender, with the ability to produce videos independently.
• Strong script interpretation and visual storytelling skills, with the ability to explain product features, workflows and value through animation.
• Sound aesthetic judgment and attention to detail, with the ability to assess and improve motion timing, visual quality and information clarity.
• Ability to clarify requirements proactively, plan production schedules and deliver high-quality finished videos independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with SaaS product animation, UI motion or promotional videos for technology products is preferred.
• Knowledge of AI agents, large language models and related technologies, together with experience using tools such as Runway or Midjourney to improve production efficiency, is preferred.
